Welcome to my castle! Take a seat and have a cup of tea or coffee of your choice. I've made your favorite cakes and treats and have decorated the dining table with an arrangement of colorful flowers. Let's have a little ice breaker shall we? Who knows, we may have more in common than you think.

1) I Love to Create
It's no secret to anyone that I love to create, whether that be writing, drawing, or crafting. Since I was a little girl, I've always loved the way pencil felt on paper. Throughout the years, that interest expanded to a variety of mediums. From crayons to color pencils and pencils to ink. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten in trouble for drawing on my parents' walls.
2) I Day Dream Often
If you see me staring off into the distance, there's a good chance that I'm daydreaming. Often, during long road trips, I'd glance at the thicket and imagine what it'd be like to live in a cabin in the woods. I'd own a fairy garden and a silver-haired unicorn. I'd put on a pair of crystal slippers and a sparkly ball gown to dance the night away in a grand ballroom. I do think that there's nothing wrong with a healthy dosage of reverie.
3) My Style Constantly Evolves

Ah yes... 2008, the emo days. You could find me at high school sporting the halls with my black painted nails, side-swept bangs, and choppy 3 layered hair. Flash forward to my college years, I wanted to be an anime girl so badly (I still kind of do), with my knee-high socks and mini skirts. Currently, I'm into the romantic style. Style is so important to me as it continually influences my work. As my style changes, so does my art.
4) Yes, I Am American
There is always a great deal of interest surrounding my nationality. I suppose people are curious because they either: a) Have not seen many Asian Americans or b) Want to know what kind of Asian I am. There's certainly nothing wrong with a bit of curiosity.
To answer that question, my nationality is Hmong. I was born and raised in America my whole life. English is my dominant language, although, I do speak Hmong on occasion. I know a little Japanese as well.
5) I Am a Christian
I was born and raised a Christian, although it wasn't until the age of 19 that I truly gave myself to the Lord. Since then, I've tried to practice the teachings of peace and unconditional love. I would not be the person I am today if not for the Lord.
6) I Am Very Organized
Sticky notes, labels, calendars, alarms, and lists. You name it, I use it all. My memory, admittedly, isn't the best, and as a result, things often go missing or unfinished. (Oh dear ^^'). I'm quite the perfectionist! As a leader, a wife, and a future mother, I've got a multitude of people who rely on me. I believe that being organized contributes to balance, structure, and serenity. These three components help us to better care for others.
7) Seven is My Favorite Number
Of all the numbers, seven has always been favorite. It is the lucky number, the holy number, and in Japanese, seven is 'Nana,' pronounced the same as my nickname. I just love the number seven. If you keep up with my comic, you'll see that there will be seven volumes with seven chapters each.
Now it's your turn. What are some unique things about you? I'd love to hear about it in the comments. Let me refill your teacup as we continue our conversation.
